GE began yesterday the implementation of the construction project of GE oil & gas in the ' second industrial city of Dammam, which is an essential part of the company's commitment to invest $ 1 billion in Arabia. Nabil Al-Mansour, Executive Director of catering in Saudi Aramco said that initiatives launched by GE's agree with Saudi vision for 2020, which aims to develop the local economy through training and qualification of young cadres to work, hoping to take advantage of new services to be provided by the facility for the oil and gas sectors in Saudi Arabia.
Rami Qassem CEO GE oil & gas said ' in the Middle East and North Africa and Turkey, that the company has for the past two years many important investments to promote local manufacturing structure in Saudi Arabia, pointing out that developing a GE oil & gas ' industrial expansion pressure controller to provide advanced technologies for clients, provide them with support services quickly and efficiently.
Qasim said that the new expansion would contribute to the improvement of the maintenance facilities, strengthen the capacity of the manufacturing unit in the company, in addition to raising operational efficiency for our clients, and develop the capacities of local suppliers in the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises. And the new facility will contribute to the strengthening of the manufacturing capacity of pressure control in more than 100 new jobs for engineers and technicians, as well as accelerate the customer acknowledges many of the key equipment such as wellhead valves for drilling and extraction in the oil and gas sector.
