The
parallel market fell for the sixth consecutive session in the longest
losing streak since May to close at 3,332 points, down 14 points, or
0.44 percent. Trading
value dropped 2.4 million riyals to 866 thousand riyals, a drop of
73 percent. The average value of the transaction was 14,000 riyals,
while 43,000 shares changed hands to 33,000 traded shares by 56 percent, with a drop of 0.2 percent. Deals fell 58 percent to 61. Shares
of Bahar Al Arab were the sole losers by 4.5 per cent to close at 12.70
riyals, while four others and Redyan was down 4.66 percent to
close at 18 riyals, followed by Alkathiri by 3.7 percent to close at
18.45 riyals, and the third with a "big" by 1.7 percent to close at 23.72 riyals.
The
highest bid was "Redan" with a value of 351 thousand riyals, followed
by Al Aseel worth 320 thousand riyals.
