The Overall Performance of the Saudi Stock Market
The index opened at 7182 points, and did not achieve any significant profit then fell to the lowest point in the session at 7169 points, 0.27 per cent loss. By the end of the session, it reduced most of the losses to close at 7182 points, losing 6 points, or 0.09 per cent. Volatility was 22 points, or 0.31 per cent. Liquidity fell 12 per cent, equivalent to 641 million Riyals, to 4.4 billion riyals, which is the lowest in two months. The average value per transaction was 41.5 thousand riyals. Traded shares also fell 20 per cent, equivalent to 33 million, to reach 136 million. The recycling rate of free shares was 0.72 per cent, which is the lowest in two months. Transactions fell 13 per cent to reach 105 thousands.
