Performing Maintenance outside the Agency does not Void Car Warranty
Ministry of Commerce and Industry stressed that commercial agents, distributors and importers of cars, and other devices, are obliged to offer necessary maintenance for their products, and provide warranty services, even if the consumer carried out maintenance at a different center, unless it is proved that maintenance caused damage to the product which breaches the warranty. The Ministry stressed on the invalidity of conditions contrary to the law of commercial agencies and its implementing regulations.
