New Requirements for Shops Selling and Distributing Gas Cylinders
The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdul Aziz, issued a circular to all Municipalities of regions and provinces to follow the recommendations of the committee formed to re-examine gas cylinders selling sites, in order to achieve safety of the citizens and ensure the speed of delivery of this service to consumers.
The Circular included amendments to the list of municipality requirements for shops selling and distributing gas cylinders which are: amendment to articles (2 and 3) of the Regulation, which states that the location of stores that sell and distribute gas and should be on a commercial street or in a place intended for commercial use, shops that do not conform to this requirement shall move to other sites identical to the contents of the new amendment, in addition to the rest of the requirements issued by the civil Defense and municipal requirements within a period not exceeding two years.
