The Saudi Ash-Shuaibi Group for Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Production entered into a strategic partnership agreement with the ATS Group to form ATS Arabia Ltd. for Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Production. The new company, to be based in Khobar, will offer vast mining equipment and supplies, as well as a number of other services related to petroleum and gas to the entire region.
The new company plans to begin a number of important new projects over the next two years including the opening of an equipment production, repair and inspection center which is expected to strengthen investment in this area in the Kingdom.
The company will also provide mining equipment for sale or lease to other companies working in the petroleum and gas sector. The company will also provide a number of opportunities for the next generation of Saudi youth who have knowledge of mining and related fields.
Jeff Corey, Production Manager for ATS Group, said, "This company will meet the goal of increasing investment in the Saudi market and at the same time benefit from the vast knowledge of the Ash-Shuaibi Group." While engineer Khalid Ash-Shuaibi said that the partnership with the ATS Group will enable the company to offer the best services possible, enhancing the efforts of the Ash-Shuaibi Group in the oil and gas sector.
