Riyadh is at the top of the list
6268 productive factory in Saudi Arabia
The number of productive factories by the end of the third quarter of the year 1434 is 6268 factory producing a total financing of 864, 134.01 million, while the number of workers in factories 813.168 employee.
The Ministry of trade and industry in modern statistical report revealed that Riyadh region topped the list of the number of factories in Saudi Arabia producing a total of 2,795 factory with financial size around 99.2 billion, followed by Eastern Province with 1468 factories producing a total financing amounted to 308.9 billion riyals, Makkah region around 1166 factory producing a total financing amounted to 115.2 billion
Also other factories distributed to other parts of the Kingdom, and the last area on the list is Albaha with at least a share of 15 producing factory, with total financing amounted to 59 million. The Ministry of trade and industry in the modern statistics stated that factories of other non-metallic mineral products topped the number in production by industrial activities, with 1223 factory, followed by metals products factories, except machinery and equipment by about 871 factory, then factories producing rubber and plastics by 777 factories. The Ministry said that the number of remaining factories is distributed to the rest of the productive activities, repair, installation of machinery and equipment is the least number of factories in the Kingdom by about five factories.
