    Mohammed bin Khalid Al suwaiket General of the Saudi railways organization President signed, todayat the Foundation's headquarters in Riyadh held the first stage of the duplication of a freight rail line from Dammam to Riyadh via bkik with the length of 214 km, with a national company at a total cost of 391.49 million riyals, and an implementation of a 24 month contract. The move aims to strengthen the capacity of the operational line to accommodate more trains in the use of transport demand growth from the private sector. At the design speed of Salman line duplication of 150 kilometres per hour, under the direction of the Foundation to operate commuter trains between Hofuf and Haradh  as the first phase and then to output in a second phase, indicating that passenger trains will serve the class students and staff travelling between Hofuf and Haradh and neighboring areas.
