The parallel market rose by 2% to close at 2550 points.
Trading values rose 54 percent by about 214,000 riyals to reach 612 thousand riyals, a rate of 6.8 thousand riyals. While traded shares increased by 36 per cent by about 12 thousand shares to reach 46 thousand shares.
Transactions rose 70 per cent by about 37 deals to reach 90.
The rise was led by "Al-Aseel Thobe" by 4 per cent to close at 25 riyals, followed by "Raydan" to close at 12.12 riyals, and then "Al-Kathiri" by 0.18 per cent to close at 27.55 riyals.
In contrast, the decline was led by "Arab Sea" by 3.5% to close at SAR 9.60, followed by "Abo Moati" by 2.2% to close at SAR 9.60, and "Baazeem" by 0.77% to close at 25.80 SAR.
The highest bids were "Abo Moati" with a value of 191 thousand riyals, followed by "Raydan" with a value of 147 thousand riyals, and then "Thobe Al-Aseel" with a value of 137 thousand riyals.
