The parallel market fell for the second consecutive session to close at 3178 points, 24 points, 0.76 percent.
The value of trading rose 206 per cent by about 2.2 million riyals to reach 3.4 million SR at a rate of 8.9 thousand riyals per transaction.
While traded shares increased 266% by about 147 thousand shares to reach 202 thousand shares traded, with a turnover of 1.2%.
Transactions rose 194 percent by about 251 to reach 380 transactions.
The rise was led by "Development Food Works Co." of 7.4 per cent to close at 77 riyals, followed by "Arab Sea" of 4.77 per cent to close at 13.18 riyals, and "AlKathiri" of 2.5 per cent to close at SAR 32.50.
On the other hand, the decline was led by "Al Omran" of 5.6 percent to close at SAR 16.52, followed by "Raydan" of 5.12 percent to close at SAR 15.94, then "Alaseel thobe" that was down 1.38% to close at SAR 64.10.
The highest traded shares were "Abo Moati" with a value of 1.1 million riyals, followed by "Arab Sea" that worth 812 thousand riyals, and "Baazeem" with a value of 555 thousand riyals.
