«Financial» conducting a comprehensive review of the classification of the general budget state
The Finance Ministry said it started several years ago to conduct a comprehensive review of the classification of the General State budget, in order to make it more responsive to the requirements of development. The Ministry said in a statement yesterday that the audit include providing more detailed statistical data for financial resources and banks, and precise knowledge of their outputs and their impact on the overall economy of the State to achieve the sustainable development of the Kingdom, and selected Government Finance Statistics Manual 2001 to apply to the General State budget. Pursuant to the decision of the Council of Ministers on the 17 of March last, which complemented the Ministry of finance to government finance statistics manual, 2001, featuring both economic and job to enhance transparency in government finances, and presentation of financial statements in conformity with international financial and economic systems, the fact that the Kingdom of an active member of the G20 and other international organizations, the Ministry has completed the requirements of GFS 2001.
This included making the system through several seminars for senior officials in government agencies and public institutions and bodies, along with several training courses for professionals with their continued for two months, was holding a training course aimed at training of 63 1,700 staff members of government agencies, institutions and public bodies. And finally, the circular to all government agencies and institutions and public bodies with a draft budget for the fiscal year 1436 e-1437 e attached evidence and new models, and will be placed on the Ministry's website, to begin working with the new budget.
