Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45518119) dated (18/8/1446 AH), which refers to the letter of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. (21067593) dated (10 Shaaban 1446 AH), which includes the Ministry’s launch of several initiatives that will contribute to achieving water and food security in the Kingdom to develop production and select varieties suitable for the Kingdom’s conditions, and apply modern technologies that lead to raising the quality and safety of the product and preserving and sustaining natural resources, the most important of which is (the initiative to enhance applied agricultural research), which aims to publish the results of (54) research that took approximately three years to complete in the field of palm trees, dates, promising crops, and soilless agriculture, which serves farmers and investors in this field, and the Ministry’s request to publish the results of studies and research for the initiative to enhance applied research, which, God willing, will have a major impact on developing work in crops with high economic returns and supporting their sustainability.
