Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification

Greetings,

Asharqia chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45511760/1) dated (16/5/1446 AH), which refers to the letter of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification No. (21001389) dated (10/5/1446 AH), regarding the Royal Decree No. (9785) dated (14/2/1443 AH) approving the main procedures proposed for the Kingdom to host the (16) session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification for this year 2024 AD, scheduled to be held during the period from (1 - 12/6/1446 AH) corresponding to (2 - 13/12/2024 AD), as the Center is working to organize the exhibition accompanying the conference, and due to the importance of enhancing local participation and raising the level of interest in the phenomena of land degradation and desertification, and highlighting the Kingdom's efforts in enhancing and ensuring environmental sustainability, the Center would like to invite you to visit the region Green within the aforementioned Conference of the Parties, which will showcase various initiatives and projects concerned with sustainable environmental development, and highlight the Kingdom's role in combating desertification through the wings of participating entities, four global forums, and a number of events.
