Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce No. (45518998) dated (9/3/1446 AH), which refers to the letter of the General Authority for Food and Drug No. (38361/2) dated (8/25/1446 AH), based on the Authority's supervisory role on imported products to verify their safety and compliance with the requirements and conditions of the Authority and the approved technical regulations, and to facilitate and expedite the process of completing the procedures for clearing shipments and inspecting them in the importers' warehouses whenever necessary, and the Authority hopes that importers of products subject to the Authority's supervision will do the following:
Follow up on the status of shipments according to what they receive from the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.
Expedite the process of communicating with the Authority to complete the procedures for shipments, especially those referred for inspection in the importer's warehouse.
Emphasizing compliance with the conditions and requirements of clearance and the necessary documents that must be provided to complete the procedures.
Providing the Authority with all the data to communicate with those responsible for clearance, in addition to the location of the warehouses, by sending it to the email of the Clearance Governance Department (ps.cps@sfda.gov.sa), provided that it includes the following data:
Name of the establishment, commercial registration number, name of the clearance official, contact number, email, warehouse location, website link (coordinates).
